East Calder Colts | #MeetTheTeams | Holland Easter Open 2025

As we get closer to April, the Holland Easter Open is fast approaching. We had the opportunity to speak with the Chairman and Head Coach of the East Calder Colts team who will be joining us at the tournament. Head coach Robbie was able to give us some insight into his club and specifically his 2009 team.

We asked Robbie to tell us how the team is feeling ahead of the tournament.

“The team is very excited to be attending the tournament, having last competed in 2023 quite a few of the lads are looking forward to returning alongside their team mates who are travelling to the tournament for the first time.”

Robbie shared with us that his team has been working hard especially with raising funds for their trip!

“The Colts have been busy fundraising, including a very successful race night!”

Discussing with Robbie what we can expect to see from the boys at the tournament, he shared with us the development of the team.

“East Calder Colts have progressed over the last few years into a very competent squad, they will bring a competitive nature and plan on enjoying every game.”

As a returning team, the Colts are looking forward to seeing how their previous opponents have improved and look forward to coming head to head again.

“In the last tournament the team faced the likes of Luton Town and RSC Anderlecht, they are looking forward to testing themselves against these sorts of teams again.”

We asked Robbie to leave his team a message of advice as the boys head into the tournament this Easter.

”Work hard but enjoy every second of the tournament!”

We can’t wait to have the East Calder Colts back and we wish them the best of luck in the Holland Easter Open!
